There are lots methods to research the structure of protein, but the most proper is x-ray analysis. Protein crystallography is considered to be just a part of x-ray crystallography but it is truly significant. Protein crystallography is an excellent system of studying more about the secondary, and as it turned out triple structure of protein. Sometimes, on the basis of crystallography information it is possible do define the protein quaternary structure, but it is not always the case. In certain cases protein displays its different features, it depends on conditions. Folding of protein is the cardinal structural feature of protein molecule. Today many scientists attempt to complete the complex analysis of the protein function. They have already proved scientifically that all the essential data of protein can be found in its primary texture or in protein sequence. When the ground of protein is fully researched, there will be a chance to define a lot of various properties of protein as classification of protein, protein functions and others and just learn more about function of protein. Regardless of our progress in those studies, the basic protein problem is not worked out yet. As of today no one can explain the relations between the structure of protein and its primary structure. Peptide is the separate sort of the proteins that for that problem has been already worked out. The peptide classification is a well-learned domain. The peptide synthesis can be performed and even for any length of peptides. More detailed data about modern protein crystallography successes, problems and new thoughts you can search out in the Archive of CCP4BB. Those archives of CCP4BB contain all CCP4BB messages with useful data about nearly all subjects in crystallography. |
