There is a detached type of matters that is named semiconductors. At first that unique class was found in the 1890's but more completely it started to be researched only after the First World War in Europe and in Soviet Union. The first successful research was carried out by the Russian physicists in 1923. They proved that semiconductors may be used to accelerate fluctuations. During several years igbt modules were ejected by tubes. Only in the beginning of the 60's with the invention of transistors in 1949 the wide usage of crystal detectors started. The intensive studying of the features of semiconductors was started at the same time.

Induced emission is really a quite interesting feature of semiconductors that has been researched for several tens of years. It caused the appearing of semiconductor laser device based on utilizing of p - n barriers and then on heterojunction.
