Working together

When people deal with each other, they use three key approaches: conversations, transactions, and collaborations.

If you are in the mood to make the optimal choice about your software solution, you have to see through the differences that are significant between these interactions.

Conversational interaction is an exchange of data and an interaction of transaction is transfer of a transaction substance between 2 or more people involeved, while collaborative interaction is used for a modification of a collaboration entity, for instance: reaching a common objective.

Collaborative interactions are dealt with in such a way that the primary goal of the participants is to introduce changes into the collaboration entity from something unstable and intangible, for instance, an idea, into a useful solution, for instance a design solution.

Collaboration Software

Teamwork software is related to groupware types that let people exchange information and work together on projects.

The strong point of these tools can be found in the ability to allow users to see action plans, share documents, track projects, monitor schedules, facilitate business processes, be promptly notified of any new objectives and activities they are involved in. You may come across a number of ways in which this software can be very useful: managing activities, papers and projects, automating business processes and coordinating work of two or more departments or even firms.

Working together

Humans interact in 3 major ways: conversing, transacting and collaborating (in a positive meaning of the word).

Getting to know their differences is vital to ensure that an appropriate software technology is used to satisfy your needs.

Conversational interaction is about understanding new information or building relationships. An instance of a transactional interaction is when you go into the shop and change your money for groceries.

Collaborative interactions are dealt with in such a way that the key purpose of those involved is to change the collaboration substance from what has been unstable and intangible, for instance, an idea, into a useful solution, for instance a design solution.

Collaboration Software

Collaborative software is related to groupware applications that make it easier for people share information and work as a team on projects.

The strong point of these tools lies in the ability to allow project activists to see action plans, access shared documents, be updated on projects, manage schedules, automate business processes, be promptly notified of any tasks and activities they are involved in. You may come across a number of approaches to making these applications useful: moderating activities, documents and projects, automating business processes and coordinating work of several departments or even firms.
